Your pelvic floor physical therapy visit will take place one on one in a private treatment room. All evaluations and treatment sessions are 60 minutes.  We will begin by listening to your concerns and learn more about your health history. Once we have a good understanding of your goals, we will do an initial assessment. This includes looking at your posture, pelvic alignment, strength and mobility and with your permission may include an internal examination of the pelvic floor muscles. The purpose of the internal examination is to assess the muscle strength, tone and function of your pelvic floor muscles. We will only perform the internal examination with your informed consent and all assessment and treatment can be modified based on your comfort level.

It's more than just KEGELS! Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized area of rehabilitation that focuses on helping people who experience symptoms of incontinence, constipation, pain, and sexual dysfunction. Physical therapists are experts in treating muscular issues throughout the body. Pelvic health physical therapists have advanced training to assess the pelvic floor muscles and organs in the pelvis.  We aim to restore healthy function through manual therapy techniques, exercise, and muscle re-education. Our approach is gentle, and we will listen to your needs throughout the treatment session.

I am an out-of-network provider. I am not in network with insurance companies; however, I can offer you a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement at your request. Please note that I will not be responsible for managing this process. Payments are due at the time of service in cash, credit card, or Zelle. 

You do not need a referral to be seen. You can be seen as soon as you are cleared by your medical provider if you are postpartum. 

If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance a $75 fee will be charged. If this occurs a second time or a patient "no shows" for a scheduled appointment, the full amount of the appointment will be charged.  We understand that emergencies occur, but we ask that you call as soon as possible to avoid the cancellation fee. This is to ensure that we have enough time to schedule other clients so they can be seen in a timely manner.
